The Optimum Group was retained to direct the internationally acclaimed restaurant, L’Auberge Chez Francois (LCF) develop a third-party catering program that would provide LCF with additional resources in expanding the catering program associated with outdoor events located on the wonderful and spacious grounds of LCF. The purpose of retaining The Optimum Group was to develop a RFP solicitation process to locate and evaluate catering companies in the Washington DC region to minimize the additional workload associated with these type of events on the grounds of the property. At the completion of the RFP process, the selected catering companies partnered with LCF through an operating contract/agreement providing commission to LCF that was authored by The Optimum Group and approved by counsel. The RFP process resulted in a manageable, short, non-exclusive approved list of local caterers to prospective event space users.
